Solas
It was at the Co-op in Solas that I shopped while on North Uist - the fantastic beach Traigh Iar is nearby. Oil painting - summer 2009.
Loch nam madadh - Lochmaddy
The village and port on the island of North Uist where I stayed for 5 weeks during the summer of 2009 - this is one of the first ink drawings from the Tir project.

On the quay
The original On the quay were completed in 2002 - before the small boats - but this piece is from 2007. Monoprint onto fabric with inks and stitched fabrics.
Porthdinllaen
Paint and oil pastels on paper 2006. One of the first coastal works I completed - the series began as paintings.
Cerdd dant frocks
I've been working on 'cerdd dant' pieces of since 2003, but most of the work on these frocks was completed during a residency at Oriel Mostyn in 2005 - these were exhibited in Kansas, 2007.
A piece of land
Ink and stitchwork - this was the first time I experimented with metal print letters - the 'land' is Llwyniolyn and the field names are an important part of the work.
Boat eisteddfod
Part of the Good Ideas project - a collaboration with JKA Sailmakers of Pwllheli - a full size sail for a Topper sailing boat was completed but I've made over 50 of these small boats.

Oil paints and pastels on card - a collage sewn together. One of a series of abstract works from 2005.
Pink dresser
Ink and stitchwork - one of my first large stitchwork pieces. Shows strong influence of the crockery and the dresser once again.
Tea drinking in Budapest
Oil on canvas - 2000. The influence of travelling - a trip to Budapest as a lecturer overseeing a crowd of art students. One of the works shown in the Collecting Eggs exhibition.

Thought to be African shields by some and surf-boards by others - these large Sheep ear-mark works were part of the Belongings exhibitions of 1998.

Welsh teas
The Welsh teas have been an important element in my work - the Bara Brith performances of 1995, still-lifes of 1997, Crynierth picnics of 1998 and the more recent pieces showing children's parties.
Glynllifon
In the early 1990s I had a studio at Parc Glynllifon - this work from 1994 is of spring's awakening in the gardens - when I'd become a mother for the first time.
America
Oil paints, pastels, spray-can paint and collage onto paper. From a 1991 series of works following a trip to New York, Philadelphia and Washington.
